Field of Study: Digital Soil Mapping and Brazilian Soil Spectroscopy Library

 

Number of Fellowships: 2

 

Fellowship 1 Requirements: Specialist in soils with knowledge in ArcGIS, ENVI software and geostatistics OR soil mapping softwares

 

Fellowship 2 Requirements: Specialist in soils with focus on mapping and pedology, field experience is required. Not necessary experience in computers.

 

Research Group: The postdoctoral scholar will be a member of the GeoSS (Geotechnologies in Soil Science Group) and Brazilian Soil Spectral Library 

 

Fellowship: After the student selection, the project will be submitted to FAPESP or CNpq.

 

Selection: will be based on CV analysis (via lattes plataform sent by e-mail) and interview (via skype)

 

Application deadline: December 15th 2013

 

Interview: December 16th via skype

 

Result: December 17th 2013

 

Project Submission: December 20th 2013

 

Work beginning: March 2014
